When I first purchased my MacBook Pro back in April of this year, I really wanted it to have 4GB of RAM, but couldn’t swing the extra $400 it would cost to purchase this upgrade.  Settling on only 2GB of RAM at the time of my purchase really wasn’t that big of a deal though because I had heard how great and powerful the latest MacBook Pro models performed.

Fast forward to several months later and my MacBook Pro system was now loaded with all of the applications that I use for website design, internet marketing and search engine optimization. These applications include many RAM intensive programs such as Photoshop Elements, Premier Elements, Dreamweaver, Screenflow, and VMware Fusion. Because I’d sometimes noticing a bit of sluggishness when running many of these programs at the same time, I finally decided that I needed to upgrade my MacBook Pro to 4 GB of RAM.

Being the frugal/savvy type, I did a bit of online research and ended up finding a way to upgrade my MacBook Pro to 4GB of RAM for under $100.

Added 9/18/2008 - For those of you who “stumble” across my site when trying to figure out how to cancel The Net Effect Journal, StomperNet has put together a dedicated cancellation site at www.CancelNetEffect.com.

By now, you’ve probably already heard about the upcoming launch of Stomping the Search Engines 2.  As a full-time Stompernet member for the past 2 years, I was lucky enough to get access to the new version on Thursday of last week, and thought I’d share my personal review of it.

First of all, I need to disclose that I never watched the first version of Stomping the Search Engines. So, my review of this latest version is based on how accurate and informative it is compared to the extensive training I’ve received in search engine optimization since I first joined Stompernet back in October, 2006.

In the original version of Stomping The Search Engines, Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins narrated and taught the entire course. In the new version, Brad and Andy only teach during module 1 of 7.  The additional modules are taught by well-known “online” experts such as click here to continue reading this post…
